Private Belize Snorkeling tours - excursions are what we, Lorne & Jolene, the team of Grumpy & Happy are all about. We moved to San pedro Ambergris Caye Belize from Canada with our children 12 years ago and started a Private Service Snorkeling and Tour company now called Grumpy and Happy Enterprises here on Ambergris caye. We are not a Dive Shop and not into how many we can get on the boat. All trips are private and we never mix groups. We have been in business for 12 years and are licensed tour operators, tour guides and members of the Belize Tourism Board.

ABOUT SNORKELING (we are a different kind of snorkel company)
What makes us different is that we work alone. We are not dive shop owners. For 12 years we have offered private snorkel services on the Belize barrier Reef. We work with each family or group that comes to us personally. We love our independence and the ability to work with individual groups.. Join us, WE DO EVERY TRIP OURSELVES and WE NEVER MIX GROUPS.
Being alone on the boat on a private snorkel tour is a far superior experience. You see more, learn more, and have more fun, have more room on the boat and so on. No crowding. We visit a wide variety of sites. We are not limited to the normal snorkel sites that regular dive shops here on Ambergris Caye visit as part of their daily schedule. A common remark made by our customers is that they have trouble finding snorkel trips to other than Hol Chan Marine reserve. This is because this is the regular scheduled snorkel trip the dive shops do twice a day.
You already know who your guides are. Our pictures are on the top left of every page.
Because you are alone with us, all our attention is on you and your needs. Conversation is easy and fun. We are better able to meet YOUR expectations because there is no compromise with others on the boat that have different expectations or desires than yours. . We do what you want to do. We are also able to assist those snorkelers with special needs.
Our personal service has opened the door for many with special needs to enjoy the snorkeling experience in a safe and comfortable way.

These pictures were taken in Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark ray Alley. Close encounters are the norm here and many have been thrilled by how close they can get to marine life. The marine life here is protected and not afraid of you.
This is a great chance to experience something unique. There are many other spots less frequented and a few of our 'secret spots' that we love to take our customers to. With us you can relax. Just your group on the boat .
Coming from Toronto 12 years ago we never thought we would be doing stuff like this!
